Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases: Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are quite dangerous, like a ticking time bomb that can suddenly occur when people relax their vigilance, with very serious consequences. The rate of vascular disease in diabetes patients is about 4 times higher than that in other people, mainly because of the pathological changes in myocardium and microvessels, which makes cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases more likely to occur.

Diabetes foot: diabetes foot refers to the ulcers and infections in the feet of diabetic patients, which is the concentrated manifestation of a systematic disease in the feet, and even causes foot deformity and walking difficulties. Ulcers may also manifest in other parts of the body, but the feet are typical and prone to occur.

Before going to bed, you can soak your feet in hot water, but be careful not to soak them in too high a water temperature, as long as it is suitable. Nicotine in tobacco also stimulates the secretion of the adrenal glands, which not only raises blood pressure but also leads to an increase in blood sugar. Therefore, quitting smoking can be considered a top priority for people with diabetes. They should be aware of the dangers of smoking when they are healthy and gradually control the frequency, so that it will not be even more difficult to quit smoking when they are sick.
